Summer Conversation and Activity Groups

Join Grad ELL鈥檚 Conversation Group Program either as a participant or a facilitator. Make new friends around campus, engage in small group discussion, and join one of our nature hikes in the local area!

Summer Peer Review Writing Retreats

Engage in low-stress writing, share your work in-progress, and receive faculty and peer feedback. Begin with a nutritious breakfast followed by 6-7 hours of writing with breaks for lunch, coffee/tea, writing consultations, and physical warm-up exercises.

Summer Graduate Tutoring

Graduate students or postdocs looking for expert feedback on their written work and oral presentations can make two appointments for tutoring with a 51重口猎奇 faculty member during the summer. Receive advice on your planning, drafting, revising, and presenting your research.

These are informal, bi-weekly meetups led by two tutors from the Writing Center. In the sessions, you'll discuss topics related to your interests while practicing your speaking and listening skills, and meeting other students.

Online and in-person groups available. Indicate your preference and availability on the sign-up form.
